Intended Audience

The QA Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling (RQF) qualification has been specifically designed for all employees to help raise their awareness of the risks associated with unsafe manual handling practices. It is also ideal for those who might have to carry out manual handling as part of their job such as handling deliveries, parcels, and boxes.

Course Overview

1. Understand the importance of safe manual handling
2. Know how manual handling risk assessments contribute to improving health and safety
3. Understand the principles, types of equipment and testing requirements associated with manual handling safety

Please note that this qualification does not include practical sessions. Those requiring practical training should undertake the QA Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (RQF).

Assessment Methods

1 x Theory assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper).

Duration of the Course

This is a half day course consists of theory.

While booking is available by online or phone calls to our office, this course is normally delivered at our training Centre face-to-face in the classroom. However, if you want to book 6 or more for this course, we can deliver this course on your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises. It will, reduce your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling expenses.
