Level 2 Skills for Health and Care Professions (RQF)
The Open Awards Level 2 Certificate in Skills for Health and Care Professions was designed to provide you with an in-depth understanding across all areas or one chosen specialist area of the health and care sector. The combination of vocational and generic units and the option to experience several areas within the sector will support you to develop a strong foundation that will enable progression to higher level learning and/or employment. The units available will also enable you to gain underpinning knowledge that can be mapped to the Care Certificate standards, required by adult social care employers.
The qualification includes specialist pathways in Health; Social Care; Childcare and Wellbeing. You have the opportunity to complete the qualification as an Endorsed Pathway, focusing on one of the specialist pathways or as a Non-Endorsed pathway completing units from across the specialist pathways.
